Love the first design for today.
I wasn’t happy with the way my day started … no internet, so today’s post is rather late, but I had plenty of time to play with quilt designs while I tried to work out what was wrong, and wonder if it was something I did, or the internet in general. Still don’t really know, but I am attached to the web again.
Designs like these would make it really worthwhile to make the bed every morning!

Very interesting, but very busy.
However, if this was turned into a real quilt I would use a quilting thread the same colour as the background to add texture, rather than teh lines seen in the illustration, so it wouldn’t look near as busy.
Love the second design. Very interesting, but nowhere near as busy as the first design

All I have done to create this series of quilts was to change some simple leaf shapes to holly shapes, and added Christmas colours. Every quilt design with a leaf could be changed the same way! Maybe the change could go the other way … change holly leaves to simple leaf shapes.
Love the second design!

Lovely!
Nive, but a bit busy for my taste. Adding sashing might help.
Busy, but I like it anyway. In a real quilt I would use a softer thread colour for the quilting which would take away a lot of the busyness in these designs.

Rather elaborate for a quilt intended for use for a short time each year!
I love it.
Love the one above too!
